I really like Civivi knives, and own several. Especially like the wood handles; Civivi always does a good job with their wood, but OUCH, the upcharge on this one is too much. Just my personal preference, but I don’t like thumbstuds. I’m also so-so on the Damascus blade.

Over the years as one sharpens that knife, and makes the tip more proud, would the user just need to have the blade stop reduced? Seems like GEC leaves their swaybacks way too close to nesting proud.

Smalls are definitely my favorite. I carry my small 21 almost every day.

I have 3 small 31’s... one of each blade shape. I only got the tanto very recently but was surprised to find that because of the angle of the short edge it makes for an extremely useful practical edc blade. It has a great point if you need to pierce/puncture or do any light prying, and then the tip of the main edge is perfect for opening packages and the main edge itself isn’t completely straight, it has a slight hint of belly. While it’s not the first choice if you’ll be doing a lot of food stuff, it would work in a pinch, but for many other edc type tasks it is fantastic. I also love the drop point and Insingo and I don’t see any of them leaving my little knife collection. I’m yet to try a large, but I probably will some day. I have an Umnumzaan tanto on it’s way, so that will be interesting. Anyway, I enjoyed the video... thanks.

I sold all my other CRKs except my small Sebenzas. They do everything a large does while being very comfortable for pocket carry in a slip.

The small 21 is my favourite too. A perfect edc. Bravo Keith and Chris Reeve.

Agreed - RCB has some of the best bone handles in the business. I bought one of these, and its covers are very close to my Nolichucky Jack. 👍

Sorry that it didn't work out for you. I am delighted with mine. I can't imagine a case where I would need to open a can where I wouldn't have quick access to a regular can opener. I would never use the knife with other tools sticking out. I find it very convenient that I can lift another tool to unlock the knife instead of needing to open the pliers part way to reach the release. I carry it with a couple of screwdriver bits so the bit holder is a great feature. My pliers do meet at the tip. It seems like people either love it or hate it.

I've been thinking of getting one for some time. My dealer has the brown micarta version. I ended up buying a Tranquil in tan G10 and black 14C28N. I really love that knife. It's about the same size as the Sinisys. I see the Tranquil as the liner lock version of the Sinisys. Maybe you should check that one out also. First time I carried it, I had the same experience you had. It disappeared in my pocket so much so that I found myself feeling for it a few times. 🙂

These may have potential, but nothing like GEc. The prices are also too much.. Plus ease up on the Marijuana theme.. It just not a great smelling pointer over your wide range for market. Yeah some people like weed, but not a great sling point for "GREAT KNIVES" in general... Maybe short term memory lost have affected y'alls fit & finish... Or y'all wanting GEC PRICES the same for copper bud cutters😮.. Hope y'all turn it around quick, or y'all be like another one like QUEEN... Absolutely gorgeous! I was sold on it as soon as I first heard about it, and immediately did a preorder for it. Got mine very quickly after they dropped, and wasn’t disappointed. Excellent fit/finish, as I’ve come to expect from RCB (hey guys at WR Case, better be looking over your shoulder). My only nitpick was that there was a couple of “splotches” in the dye on the bone handles, but nothing major that would make me want to return it. I agree with you - another winner for RCB!

I use an A. G. Russell Hunters Scalpel that size at times. The sheath design is a really much easier to use and smaller and lighter in weight and size. You might look at one if you like small neck knives.👍

Another nice one! But, GEC as a whole has reached the distinction of “unobtainium” for me due to both their price and their limited production.
